Some Scenes...

Oh the turkey, and the art, and the turkey. It was four full days of fall festiveness, complete with a boatload-o-cranberries (my favorite), a smidge of shopping, a soupcon of celebrating (in the form of a birthday dinner for my lovely friend Janet), some park frolicking, and plenty of art ogling at the DMA (The Jim Hodges exhibit...Holy hell. Total brilliance. If you are in Dallas, you must go see this action stat.).

All in all, a decidedly splendid holiday weekend. Just what I needed to fortify me for the work week ahead, the countdown to the girlies' big Nutcracker performances (this weekend), and the big 40 (also this weekend).
