I've mentioned my soul sister Lucia Simek many times in this little space of mine. But, well, she's awfully worthy of mention, that one... An artist, writer, mama, fiercely loyal friend, encourager, she is all-around utterly and completely amazing in every. single. way. And tonight she has an exhibit opening at the Dallas Contemporary featuring her beautiful, minimal, thought-provoking work.
I am so, so proud of you friend.
