The weekend was a blur of art projects and chocolate. Well not really, but from the photos, that's what it seems like.
We did do our share of yarn pom pom creating/painting/making sculptures out of perfume sample boxes, and yes, eating chocolate (man that Millie loves chocolate almost as much as I do), but we also spent the past two days getting the girlies all geared up for their first day of school.
They were so excited (and a little nervous), walking into the building this morning holding hands. Surprisingly, I wasn't melancholy, despite the fact that this morning signaled a whole new era for us, with both girls in elementary school. I was ready for this, ready to streamline our lives a bit... there's just something seemingly easy about one school, one set of friends and volunteer activities and events at said one school. I left the school drop and felt pretty darn buoyant.
And, ok...maybe a little, tiny bit sad. Just a smidge.
I need some chocolate.

Love Mast Brothers! Finally got to go to the actual store this summer and it was so neat!
I love that we both posted this week about chocolate! Is there something is the air? xoxo
What an exciting time for both girlies!! Can't wait to see them in December. xx
Mast Bros Chocolate. THE BEST. I can only find it at the big Central Market in Dallas. Do they sell it anywhere else around here?
