I went a little photo crazy with this one, so to help offset the plethora-o-snaps, I'll keep the words to a minimum. Here's what's going down in the scenes above:
combing through the Heath factory in Sausalito / feasting on oysters and champagne at Hog Island Oyster Company / hanging out with our dear friends Julie and Tim in the house they rented in Tomales Bay (where they kindly let us crash...we slept in a boathouse that was completely open to the water on one side, and, suffice to say, it was total magic) / cooking Julie's birthday dinner with provisions from Cowgirl Creamery, the farmer's market, and Marin Sun Farms / Driving highway 1 / my beloved Stinson Beach.
Sigh...

Gorgeous photos, Joslyn. Looks absolutely heavenly...
i think you must have had the finest time because you certainly captured the finest things of living here!
Oysters, sleeping next to the water, and visiting Stinson beach? Lady, you are LUCKY!!
Lovely! Those pottery photos have me swooning.
that home looks like the rental that was just in Bon Appetite Magazine, I've been searching like crazy trying to find it online to rent! Looks amazing!
All our favourites, Stinson is the best place to eat, doesn't matter what the weather is doing...

looks amazing! I photographed that same blue door last summer.
Magic. All of it.
That looks like HEAVEN. And I have already sent the inquiry to the house. ;) So glad you had a fabulous time!!!
so I'm perusing the pretty pictures and empathizing with the posts and feeling altogether at home. Then I saw them. The Starcke Ghost Chairs. I thought I was over them. Now I'm thrown back into retail hell, and trying to justify spending a months rent on chairs. Thanks.
