Lisa's excellent interview with David Netto on A Bloomsbury Life... but this part especially:
"I'm big on respect for yourself. Putting a tie on most days at home to write does make me take life more seriously. I don't view that as an inconvenience. I'm inspired by the abstract painter Robert Ryman who gets up every day, puts on a suit, rides the subway to his studio and gets to work painting white squares."
CV's cobalt blue duffel and that striped clutch above... Both officially on my (ongoing) CV wish list. Is it possible to own too many Clare Vivier bags? I think not ;-)
The insane awesomeness that is Lee Borthwick's Mirror Tapestry...
And Yves Klein Blue inspired nail polish from Rescue Beauty Lounge. (Both spotted via Moodboard.)
Aurélie Bidermann’s butterflies on The Coveteur...
This brass owl pencil cup from Minty (which I can't help thinking would be a nice companion for my kangaroo, yes?)...

Loving that blue nail polish and the brass owl cup! I do love absolutely anything that's in brass
OK...I see the Clair Vivier bags everywhere but never knew they were made in the USA and reasonably priced! On my b'day and mother's day wish list...May is my month! Thanks for the inspiration.

If not for you, I wouldn't know of Claire Vivier. I feel like a cooler person just reading her blog! I want one of everything she designs. And, never mind her wardrobe! Thanks, Joslyn!
Okay lady, my heart just skipped a beat (or two) (or three). I saw the owl and thought, oh my, we have one like that! It is most flattering to be mentioned on one of my all-time favorite blogs. Thank you, Joslyn! And yes, he would make a fine companion to your whimsical kangaroo. I have a weakness for brass and an even greater weakness for brass creatures.

That quote from David Netto is so true. I always feel like I can tackle the world if I feel like I'm looking smart and get going early in the morning. Strange, but it's true human behaviour!
Definitely IMPOSSIBLE to own too many CV bags. 'Keep the love coming' is what I say...
We have blue butterflies like that in our downstairs loo and they do make me happy!
Dude, I have 5!
In love with the mirror tapestry, I need a little of that spangle in my life. It would be an awesome dress too...
