The girlies getting crazy in their new Round Top dresses...
The lovely Sam in repose...
I'm struggling a bit with re-entry this week.
You'd think a mere 48 hours of Round Top goodness wouldn't throw me off so much, but clearly I underestimated the effects of all that walking and sleuthing and sweating (it was hot!). Sleuthing is hard work friends.
But it paid off, as we saw loads of inspiring stuff, engaged in some much needed girl bonding, consumed maybe the best strawberry rhubarb pie of all-time and scored some lovely treasures, including, not one but, wait for it...two busts. (I'm having a bust moment, Bryan is perplexed, but it is what it is.) I also took home some brass bracelets and mid-century candle holders, a marble box, some art, Mexican dresses for the girlies, a Kelly Wearstler meets hippie pottery vase... It was a respectable haul; I'll snap a photo of the loot and share with you guys later this week.
Ok off to continue my re-entry efforts (wish me luck). Hope you guys had a fantastic weekend!

looks like fun. I always want to go to that but always forget to make my way down to TX. ;)
I first heard of Roundtop while watching Tori and Dean, they were shopping for her store InvenTORI. Looks like a treasure trove.
Sounds perfect, Jos. Hope re-entry is as smooth as possible! :)
Was there on Saturday! :) What fun!
So fun, we have a street market in Chicago on the first weekend of the month...I will have to share with you some treasures. Love the bust..so retro cool! Smooth re-entry...feel your pain.

I love a glimpse into your weekends--you always do what I wish I had done!
Cannot wait to see the loot! Good luck with the re-entry. I'm in need of a short exist in the near future!
