More Brook & Lyn goodness...but this time it's one of her gorgeous necklaces paired with that insane dress.
Tori Mellott's kitchen (originally via Domino)... A complete departure from my usual white-clad/earthy kitchen lust, but the combo of the green cabinets and those sort of 70's op-art prints against the toile wallpaper is pretty brilliant, yes?
These wise words...that I need to adhere to more often.
(I thought I had the source for this image but can't seem to find it anywhere. Let me know if anyone knows where it originated and I'll credit!)
*update -- image via remodelista from the (gorgeous) upstate NY home of Aesthetic Movement's founder, Jesse James...Thanks Angela!
Major pillow goodness from Proud Mary...
(it should be noted that this image was in my "loving" folder even before Proud Mary came on board as a SL sponsor...I've been smitten with their stuff forever.)
This cake, which is a compelling case for minimal adornment. It's just pure visual evidence that often the most beautiful things are the most simple. (via Saveur by way of Suann)
This plethora of perfect rings via Erie Basin...
More flower crown loveliness (via Simone LeBlanc)
Ashley Helvey's coffee set-up (via her d*s sneak peek)...I know this image has been oft-blogged, but there's really nothing lovelier than coffee in a Chemex.

That first dress looks like a painting...how gorgeous.
xo
I've put a chemex in my amazon cart about five times in the last year but I can never actually purchase. I've heard they are a pain to actually use. True? worth it though?

There actually pretty easy. Slightly more work than an automatic coffee maker, but the coffee is so, so much better!
I can see why you are loving all that! precious.
love it all, but that first dress is seriously amazing!!!
The kitchen is super fun. But mostly I'm intrigued by that chemex. Like Kelly and Kelly I'd heard they were a pain, but really the coffee is that much better? Hmm... Funny thing is I'm literally on my ay out the door to buy a french press...

Love all of this - le sigh! Seriously, you've got the best taste!
Where is that dress from Joslyn?? Gorgeous! All of it! :)
Hi Joslyn,
The framed artwork above is from the collection of Jesse James, the founder and creative director of Aesthetic Movement. (and also my boss!!) His house in upstate New York, which was originally a blacksmith's shop in the 1800's was featured in Remodelista.
