While Bryan and Audrey were off on their father/daughter camping trip canoeing, fishing and exhibiting all sorts of fearlessness on zip lines and the such, Millie and I were busy having all sorts of little adventures...
We hit the mall for dinner and some window shopping, spent a few hours meandering through the DMA (this exhibit is a must-see), painted together with some rockin' new watercolor sticks (that I'm completely obsessed with), went to lovely cousin Erin's house for a backyard bbq to celebrate boyfriend Ben completing his masters program, hit Bishop Arts with our besties Julie and Tim for pizza at Eno's and chocolate at Dude Sweet, read a slew of books while snuggling in bed and shared the world's largest cinnamon roll for breakfast on Sunday (ok, I actually ate pretty much all of it, but I intended to share it with her...honest).
I cherish this kind of rare one-on-one time with each of the girlies. It's just such a different (and truly essential) experience to get to interact with them for some extended period with no distractions (relatively speaking), no one else vying for your attention. They feel special; you feel present, which is a pretty powerful combination.
Hope your weekend was splendid friends!

I spy with my little eye...my sister-in-law and brother! Hope you had fun!
Oh hello, this is a very random question but is that a clare vivier bag in the first photo (and if it is do you know if you have the long or short straps)?! Sorry to be a sac stalker but I am lusting after the bag and as I am from the UK the bags have to be ordered and no returns.........sorry again - I don't usually ask personal questions (or any questions at all!) I do read your blog every day though.
best wishes

She is such a cutie! And I love her haircut.
I have a date weekend with my oldest in a few weeks, and I am looking forward to it. ;)
being present with Henry is the best. sounds like a wonderful weekend with your youngest girlie.
Sounds like such a lovely weekend! It must be so incredibly special to spend quality time with each of your girlies.
PS. LOVE the La Trop - le sigh . . . her handbags are the death of my bank account :)
Wow! You really managed to squeeze in a lot of outings in that short amount of time! Quite a full weekend... Looks lovely, and the best part was you created memories with your girls.
