Loving...

These beautiful, dreamy "mother/daughter" shots. So stunning. (via paper ice cream)

Covet Garden's latest, featuring the bookshelf of my dreams. + I love that Covet Garden "deep dives" into one house per issue -- great concept...

Anica...everything about it. It's a completely perfect shop. Oh and that Lizzie Fortunato necklace -- loving that big time too. (via montmarte)

The Masanori Oji exhibit at Mjölk in Toronto. Simple, artful.

This outfit -- also simple + artful, yes? Love the little pop of yellow amidst all the neutral. Plus totally killer dress. (via vanessa jackman)

Susan's moccasins... Metallic baby moccasins = the coolest shower gift ever.

This velvet ribbon wrapped bangle (via simone le blanc).

As a side note, I tweeted yesterday about this necklace that I'm planning to try my hand at making... Now a velvet ribbon bangle is also on the DIY list.

And as a second side note. I try with twitter, I do. But I'm not going to lie, it's a struggle. I'm just too wordy (case in point, two separate side notes).

Anyone else find it hard to tweet?

I do find it hard, but also find it to be a good exercise for me in fine tuning my words to drill down to the point (which is not easy for me either:), being a huge "parentheses" person myself.

That bookshelf (should it even be called a plain old bookshelf?) just killed me.

In a good way, though.

Thanks for this post!

I can't "tweet" to save my life! I tried to do it for about a month before giving up -- it was just too difficult to stick with.

I try at twitter too but find it strangely difficult. Never sure if I am doing the right thing. I don't find the word brevity the hard thing more the etiquette and all the shortcuts. I'm amazed by those people who seem to be on it all day and have a successful following through it. I can't keep up.
Love Dennis Reid's apartment on Covet Garden. I worked with him at the Art Gallery of Ontario so it was interesting to see his place. The plants and books are incredible (as is his sock drawer!)

Is it okay to covet the 'mom' dress in the first image?

I fell in love with a bookcase once, too, Joslyn - and I am still not over it! A friend in Vienna had a wall to wall to ceiling bookcase of big cube shapes holding a zillion books. I still dream of recreating it somehow someday.

Ohgosh, twitter is too fast for me. I can barely keep up with what's going on, feel like no one cares (or should care) about 95% of the things I tweet, and feel it is really time consuming. Some days I feel like I need to go to twitter boot-camp or something!
LOVE those moccasins. Do they have adult sizes? ;)
