I'm gearing up for a week-long work trip to Germany in a few days, so the weekend was all about getting in as much family bonding time as humanly possible. With a short break for a Saturday date night (for our couples book club), it was 100% hanging with the girlies.We kicked things off at Northpark on Friday where we had dinner at La Duni (and I exhibited formidable willpower re: sugar and alcohol) and took the girls to see Ramona and Beezus (v. cute, I would recommend). There was also some sprinkler action, some painting and another visit to the museum* (yes that makes three weeks in a row, Audrey was miffed that we went last weekend and saw that awesome Jill Foley exhibit without her, so we had to go back and let her scope things out...)
Love that kid.
*Speaking of the museum, I decided to mix things up a bit and actually (gasp) not bring my camera...It's amazing how much more engaged I am when I'm not snapping pics. But because no outing can go undocumented, Bryan took a few shots of our visit + brunch on another day (below) with his iphone and the (completely awesome) hipstamatic app.

looks like a lovely weekend. i too am becoming addicted to the convenience of not lugging around my nikon & just snapping a few pictures with my phone. that app is so fun.

The photo/memorabilia array is too cool. I would have to agree with another commenter, this is one of my favorite "scenes from the weekend". I especially love the raw iPhone photos.
