Loving...

Yet another genius display of tissue lanterns via 100 layer cake...(tissue lanterns are my "slightly overplayed design blog obsession" of choice, my bunting and cupcakes if you will...I may never tire of them.)

This insanely comfortable looking dress via beklina...not 100% sold on the length, but you could cut that bad boy off at the knee, right?

These stunning pillows -- love them so much they're making me want to re-think my entire bedroom...(image by photographer mark eden schooley via south of market)

This perfect horn bracelet (it's on the short-list for fall with that striped "dress" from last week...just thought you should know)

This teepee (via sara's fantastic house)...

You know of my love for a good teepee. Suffice to say, it's right up there with my tissue lantern obsession. So I'm happy to report that one soon might be taking up residence on our back porch, as Audrey has requested a teepee for her upcoming birthday. (Of course it was totally her idea, no pressure at all from me, no siree...)

Maybe the prettiest bathtub ever via remodelista

This completely chuckle-worthy garland from pour porter (first spotted via karey)

  2. I can relate to your tissue lantern obsession as I am experience a definite bunting obsession. The blog world has been feeding it with 'bunting on cakes,' 'homemade bunting stamps,' etc!! I guess it could be worse:).

  3. That was my first thought about that dress! Gorgeous, but the most awkward length on almost anyone.

  5. re: dress, yes! you could totally cut that at the knee. I did the same (although long tunic length) with that blue/wht striped jcrew dress you forced me to buy ;). since it was on sale and all. the bottom part was no so flattering on me, so i trimmed it :) c.

  7. I made a teepee just because I'm so in love with them, but I'm not quite sure what to do with it. (I'm 23 with no children!)

  9. A teepee is definitely on our list. Love the one you pictured.
Also think the horn bracelet is great. Might put it on my fall list as well!

  10. Yep, Gram's idea as well : ). He does love it- and has even made it his 'special place' to take a private dump.

  11. I love tissue lanterns too, especially these vivid yellow and green ones. Is it weird to want to hang them year round? :)

  13. Okay....first of all, if I didn't love you before(which I did) I adore you even more now! :) I had no idea that we were soul sisters, did you? That I also SUCK at DIY...OBSESS about paper chandeliers & pompoms & tee pees? :) I adore the things you are loving as always, my dear. And yes, I say cut that bad boy off at the knees, then it would be so YOU! Thanks for cheering my day! Audrey is such a doll.
