p.s. -- The lovely ladies over on my favorite things asked me to contribute a favorite "motherhood moment" for their series... I have to say, as I was writing it, I was thinking that being a mother is by far the most amazing, surprising, fantastic experience. I am humbled by it daily.

Happy Mother's Day to you! Is that you in the photo? I love photos of me and my girlies like the one you posted, showing the "action" of motherhood.
My new "alarm clock" is my youngest singing "Boun-CEEE, Boun-CEEE, Boun-CEEE" as she jumps in her crib every morning at the crack of dawn. It might be way too early but it's the best alarm clock I could never buy. =) Motherhood rocks.

Ditto. I feel exactly the same way. Motherhood is a miracle. I keep reminding myself that we are mothers and fathers to all children. such a sweet photo!!
