Blogger's Favorites -- Molly of My Favorite Things

I had the pleasure of meeting the owner of this week's list, the utterly delightful and lovely Molly at the Kirtsy book party a few weeks ago...(I love it when the real world and the blogging world collide...), and not only is she totally fab in real-life, but she was sporting perhaps the cutest. necklace. ever.

Molly's blog is a most excellent daily record of her favorites, so I was so happy that she agreed to narrow them down to her top ten for us.

So without further ado, herewith Molly's favorites. Enjoy and have a lovely weekend*!

* -- if you're in Dallas, be sure to stop by the White Rock Local Market tomorrow...it's the last one until spring and promises to be choc full of lovely "giftable" goodies (including Jonathan Cross' gorgeous ceramics...)

• Owls -- I am not sure when the infatuation began but I love owls. They are sweet + whimsical and add a bit of magic to my home. You can find the one in the photograph sitting in our family room.
• iPhone -- I joined the masses when this little jewel hit the market and have had a love affair with it ever since. It is perfect + complete and I really don't believe I could live without it. We are joined at the hip, ahem, hand :)
• Paper -- I love paper in all its many forms. But what I love even more is the handwritten note. I believe we have lost the art of letter writing in a world of email. But I will stay strong. Stationery and me will last forever. And if you care to know, I happen to adore this paper paradise the best!
• Jcrew Jeans [matchstick to be exact] -- If you haven't ever tried a pair on, you should. Reasonably priced, beautiful denim. They sit right at the perfect place on my hip. I don't have to worry about too much exposure and just because I am a mom of two, doesn't mean I have to sport the mom jean. Jcrew is the perfect fit!
  

• Carmex -- It is a well known fact with my family that I am OBSESSED with Carmex. I have it in just about every room in the house and will not leave home without it. My lips crave it and so I oblige.
• Thunderstorms -- I love a good thunderstorm and even a rain shower. It is somehow calming and comforting to be cocooned inside my home while the elements rage outside. In the winter, I like to curl up by the fire and read a good book, that is if the boys are already in bed.
  
  

• Sweets -- I love to bake and I love to eat what I bake. I actually love to eat sweets in general. I will always, always save room for dessert. I have a sweet tooth and I'm not afraid to admit it.
• Magazines -- Magazines are a fave and you will find them dotted throughout my home. I was absolutely devastated when I discovered that Domino and Cookie were going to be extinct. I'll survive just as long as Real Simple doesn't disappear.
• Statement Necklace -- I would say I am a simple girl. My wardrobe and accessories definitely reflect that. But I must say, I am in la la love with my new Miss Ruby Sue necklace. It is fun and feminine and when I opened the package I was like a little kid on Christmas. I think every girl should own one.
• White Anything -- I love white accents. White latte bowls. White vases. White candles. Can you really go wrong with white? I think not!
