I’ve been up since 5:30…and it’s Saturday. Oh and nobody else is up. That’s right, both girlies are sleeping soundly (and you know Millie never sleeps), Bryan is snoozing, and I’m awake.
After tossing around for a few minutes realizing sleep was seriously eluding me, I gave in and decided to turn this whole thing around -- alone time. Eureka!
But still, 5:30 on a Saturday… Come on.

Which is really just perfect, no?

oh, i've been up too.
lovely blog.
Lovely quote--exactly what I've been needing lately. I think I'm going to meditate on that today.
I love moments like that.
I stayed in bed this morning until 9! With matt sound asleep-completely out. and the three kids begging for food, starving...and i kept saying"give mommy 10 more minutes."for about two hrs..poor babies. I would love alone time like you had today. I think if I ever attempted that it would back fire and the kids would all get up early that day just to spite me.
I bet your morning was wonderful!
:)
My littlest one is an early riser--usually waking the other two. I used to dread it as well but decided to use that time to actually sit with my kids (Instead of doing everything that needs to be done) and read. It's a nice entry to the day.
It helps that I am hooked on the Twilight series (dragging out book four so it doesn't end).
Jora is the best and I love the sentiment.
Enjoy your weekend.
Well, at least you are making great use of your time. It seems my only alone time is when everyone is asleep too.
I don't know if you've heard, but LFT is going out of business. I know you have blogged about this store in the past, so I thought I would give you a heads up. Everything is 55% off... how's that for getting you out of a "fashion rut"??
early morning along-time can be the cozies time, if you ask me.
time for oneself is super important.
PS love your blog!
Oh, I am sorry you were up so early...but, thank you for that quote....it is my the most beautiful thing ever.
xo
