Scenes From The Fair

It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that we ate our way through the fair. The chocolate ice cream was an even bigger hit than the cotton candy.

And yes, in case you were wondering we came home with a hot pink inflatable unicorn emblazoned with sparkly rainbow hearts... Admit it, you're jealous.

Oh I don't know...there was the year that the boys won over 10 stuffed animals...Uncle Tim had to carry them all around the fair AND then ship them back home to us in NY! This is such a great fair! We still talk about it!

LOL. How long until the unicorn takes a walk on a sparkly rainbow bridge to nowhere?

Of course that is what one should do...eat their way through a fair. Though your daughter is clearly suffering her way through that chocolate ice cream. No enjoyment for her as evidenced by that steely look on her face...but it helps build character, Joslyn. Well done. ;)

karey...I don't know about the deep -fried twinkie? I've done the deep fried snickers and thought it quite vile! I couldn't even eat it...and that's saying something por moi!

The unicorn? Color me "envious"! (Nichole's comment is HILARIOUS!)

That looks like such fun. Oh, fair food. And is there anything better when young and wonderfilled than to walk away with some big, useless and sparkly?

I think not.

(A parent may have a different opinion, but the kid? Nothing better.)

ha! my daughter brought home that same inflatable creature after a trip to the fair with her grandparents. I'm still scheming on how to make it magically disappear.

Your girlies are precious...ooooh a sparkly, pink unicorn. It was between that and the 6 foot long, sparkly, purple snake at the California State Fair. I'm very sorry to say that the snake won out. :)

Looks like a fab time.
