You'll have to forgive this rather random post, but I just can't get these things out of my head...
Needless to say the pool and the photograph of Thelonious Monk from the Columbia Records archive (spotted via Carolina) are decidedly out of my reach. (Especially the pool, which we ripped out of cookie magazine and have taped to our refrigerator door to somehow compensate for our heat stroke filled weekends.) So for these, I am obsessing from afar.
The bag (via Pia Jane) and the dark toes... well they're an altogether different story.
Despite every fiber of my being telling me it isn't "seasonal", that photo (via Liivian Talossa -- a beautiful, beautiful blog) makes me want dark toes this summer...not coral, not pale pink or red... DARK. period. And, I think that white bag might be just the thing to break my yellow bag fixation once and for all.

I love it! No forgiveness needed! I always find inspiration here.
You take hodge-podge to a wonderful level my friend. The pool, the bag and the dark toes...I want them all!
you know i wear all black all the time, right? so i finally bought that crisp white india rose laundry bag? LOVE LOVE LOVE it.
because it's so not dark.
and the dark toes? i love 'em in the photo, for sure. i'd love 'em even better if they were dipped in that pool. xoxo.
Oh that pool, and how groovy your toes will look under the water when they are dark...
I love it! The pleasant assortment of special spots and wonderments :)
try essie's wicked. i like the color and the name ;-)
wicked...hmm i'm intrigued for sure.
sigh* I want that backyard.
What a great photo collection. I love dark toes, and I don't think it matters that it's summer. I just got out of a meeting with a girl that had hot pink short fingernails, and they were so cute. Her whole outfit was simple, so they just worked.
OH, and I love that bag! I think we have very similar taste in bags. Either that or I just have an across-the-board obsession!
I remember that pool from Cookie too. And obsessing about it for some time.... :)
that pool is to die for. Oh how I would kill to be outside in the sun next to that pool.
This "random" collection, looks great. I think everything works together.
