I love white dishes. Seriously. It's an addiction really. And stray pieces are my favorite...I just can't resist picking up the odd white serving bowl or tray every time I hit an estate sale or thrift shop.
But I suppose there are worse addictions to have -- in the whole scheme of things an overabundance of white plates is really relatively harmless, right?
I usually go for pretty nondescript pieces as they seem to mix in better with my other stuff, but now that the spending hiatus as come to an official end (more on that later, I promise), I'm awfully tempted by these crafty looking textured beauties by CB2...

i was getting so tired of our three sets (yes, three), but a friend has fiesta ware. after a few dinners at her apt, i've learned i have a hard time eating on colors!

I went out and bought white dishes at Ikea after eating on the beautiful ones in Seaside! I love them!
I love comments, too! How are you guys? I've rearranged the furniture in my living room (big thanks to Jeff!). Maybe we can get Hillary out soon for dinner!
I totally agree. Food never looks quite as appetizing as it could if it isn't on a white dish.
Yet I still have a few colored ones, too. But the whites are my favorites. :)
