It says a lot about my addiction to the "to do" list and general love of planning that I actually enjoy packing and preparing for a trip almost as much as going on the actual journey. And if I do say so myself, I have some pretty mad packing skills... (Bryan and I managed to go on a nine-day trip to Paris pre-kiddos without checking a single piece of luggage -- and I'm not exactly a "low maintenance" gal.)
Up until now, I've managed to tuck the girl's clothes in with mine or Bryan's when we've traveled, but Audrey is starting to outgrow that strategy and will need a little suitcase of her own in short order.
I'm digging this little travel bag by Stella McCartney for Le Sportsac. Made of recycled polyester, it manages to appear both pretty and "responsible." The pattern is whimsical, but not so childish that she'll tire of it too soon + she can wheel it around herself, which will make her feel awfully independent, which is essential lately...

very sweet...i love seeing little girls all decked out to travel, right? we fly too much, but we always dress up and have pretty "rollies."
and doesn't every girl need a little stella?!
okay for sure you will need to share your packing tips for paris! were going for 2 weeks and i would love to not have to check any luggage as my hubby lived in two outfits for 5 days last time! (lost luggage)
i'm the same exact way. in high school i did three weeks in europe with one of those tiny roller carry-ons! don't think that would happen now though...
