I'm seriously enamored of these iittala Taika dishes. I’d love eight of the dinner and salad plates and a few 20oz bowls to mix in with all my existing white dishes…
I love the Toikka (? spelling) glass birds and the Merimekko fabrics. Huhtanen is Finnish...I've always wanted to incorporate some of the Finn taste but it's pretty contemporary.

oh i love it too! we have a scandinavian design store near us and i think about those dishes all the time.
Carrie, i think the glass birds would look grat in a more traditional setting...you should go for it?
