Lately I’ve been obsessed with mindful consumption. With the craziness of everyday life, it’s just too easy to grab something from a big box store when I need a present, so in an attempt to curb the temptation to always buy something new, I’ve been collecting lovely things throughout the year at thrift stores, estate sales and our own closets to create a little gift stash. My sister had her third child yesterday -- a sweet baby boy with a full head of strawberry blonde hair. In celebration of his arrival, I made a little care package for him comprised of a few things that were especially meaningful to my girls.
